What is The Rage Cage?

The Rage Cage is a rage room (also known as a smash room, break room, or anger room) located in Brooklyn, New York. We provide a safe, controlled environment where you can smash bottles, dishes, electronics, and other breakable items using a variety of tools.

Whether you're looking to relieve stress, celebrate a birthday, enjoy a unique date night, host a team-building event, or simply try one of the most exciting activities in NYC, The Rage Cage offers an unforgettable experience.

What happens during my rage room session?

When you arrive, you'll check in, sign a waiver, and store your belongings in one of our secure lockers. We'll provide all required safety equipment before escorting you to your private rage room.

Inside, you'll find a selection of breakable items and smashing tools based on the package you've purchased and current inventory. During your session, you're welcome to purchase additional breakables if you'd like to keep the smashing going.

Every room also includes a Bluetooth speaker and phone mount so you can play your favorite music and capture photos or videos of your experience.

Who can participate?

Guests 18 years or older may participate on their own.

Guests ages 13–17 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the session.

For safety reasons, anyone who is pregnant or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, we recommend consulting your physician before booking.

What should I bring?

Please bring:

• Closed-toe shoes (required)

• A valid government-issued photo ID

We'll provide everything else, including safety gear and smashing equipment.

Can I buy more breakables during my session?

Yes! If you'd like to extend the fun, you can purchase additional breakable items during your session, subject to availability.

Is safety equipment provided?

Absolutely. Every participant is provided with the appropriate protective safety equipment before entering the rage room. Your safety is our top priority, and our staff will review all safety rules before your session begins.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are highly recommended to guarantee availability. While we may occasionally accept walk-ins, booking in advance is the best way to secure your preferred date and time.

Do you host birthdays, team-building events, and private groups?

Yes! The Rage Cage is a popular destination for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate team-building events, school groups, and other private celebrations. If you're booking for a larger group, please contact us so we can help coordinate your event.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Gift certificates are available and make a great gift for birthdays, holidays, graduations, anniversaries, or anyone looking for a unique experience in New York City.

What is your rescheduling, cancellation, and no-show policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact us by phone or email (email preferred) at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid any rescheduling or cancellation fees.

For requests made less than 48 hours before your appointment:

• Reschedules are subject to a 30% fee of the reservation total.

• Cancellations are subject to a 40% fee of the reservation total.

Guests who do not arrive for their reservation will be considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund. Each reservation requires staff time, preparation, and inventory, so we appreciate your understanding.
